AquaTek was retained by a New Jersey law firm to provide expert witness testimony on behalf of the plaintiff in a lawsuit against a neighboring petroleum storage facility. The plaintiff had alleged that pollution emanating from the petroleum storage facility was impacting their site and that remediation activities were impacting their ability to conduct normal business. AquaTek evaluated the environmental file on the site and subsequently determined that the ongoing remediation program was inappropriate, ill conceived and ineffective. AquaTek's expert reporting and testimony resulted in our client successfully recovering lost resources due to the defendant's improperly designed remediation program.

In addition, AquaTek developed opinions regarding the use of chlorinated solvent-based chemicals in industry-specific applications, thereby establishing the historic presence of hazardous chemicals at the site.
