On behalf of a residential real estate developer in Hudson County, New Jersey, AquaTek implemented a soil and groundwater investigation and remediation plan that employed a cost-effective approach to address NJDEP requirements. Utilizing a sophisticated sampling matrix over the multi-acre site, AquaTek simultaneously evaluated and remediated soil contaminated with a wide variety of compounds, including heavy metals and PCBs. In addition, AquaTek completed an assessment of the groundwater beneath the site and successfully determined that the detected contamination originated from an unknown upgradient and offsite source.
